Thursday, November 9, 2023, was a special day for FMIPA UNNES as it received blessings with the inauguration of two new professors. The new professors at FMIPA are Prof. Dr. Dwi Yulianti, M.Si., inaugurated as a professor in the field of STEM in Physics Education, and Prof. Dr. Saiful Ridlo, M.Si., inaugurated as a professor in the field of Biology Learning Evaluation. The inauguration ceremony was held alongside seven other new professors, including Prof. Dr. Bambang Priyono, M.Pd. (FIK), Prof. Dr. Dewi Sulistianingsih, S.H., M.H. (FH), Prof. Dr. Amir Mahmud, S.Pd., M.Si. (FEB), Prof. Dr. Malarsih, M.Sn. (FBS), Prof. Dr. Rodiyah, S.Pd., S.H., M.Si. (FH), Prof. Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo, M.T. (FT), and Prof. Dr. Ngabiyanto, M.Si. (FISIP).
The inauguration ceremony was led by UNNES Rector Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si., held in the UNNES Prof. Wuryanto Campus Sekaran Auditorium and broadcasted live on the UNNES YouTube channel starting at 08:30 WIB.
The inauguration began with the reading of the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the appointment of professors by the UNNES Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance, Prof. Heri Yanto, M.B.A., Ph.D.
In her inauguration as a Professor in the field of STEM in Physics Education, Prof. Dr. Dwi Yulianti, M.Si., delivered her scientific oration entitled “Action Learning Task Model with STEM Approach for the Development of 21st Century Learning Skills.”
In his inauguration as a Professor in the field of Biology Learning Evaluation, Prof. Dr. Saiful Ridlo, M.Si., delivered his scientific oration entitled “Rehumanizing Assessment: in Flipped Learning.”
The professorial inauguration was carried out by UNNES Rector, Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si., including the presentation of the professorial regalia. In his speech, UNNES Rector Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si., extended his congratulations and wishes for success to the new professors and expressed gratitude for the increase in UNNES professors.
The Dean and the entire academic community of FMIPA UNNES extend their congratulations and best wishes to Prof. Dr. Dwi Yulianti, M.Si., and Prof. Dr. Saiful Ridlo, M.Si., as well as the seven professors from FIK, FH, FBS, FT, and FISIP who were inaugurated. May this additional responsibility increase the chances for their knowledge to be more blessed and beneficial to all.
With the addition of these new professors, may it further motivate the academic community at FMIPA UNNES to continue their work and strengthen UNNES as an Innovative, Religious, Excellent, and Meaningful (Re-Uber) Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with an internationally renowned conservation perspective.
