On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, 7 FMIPA UNNES professors and 1 student team successfully received awards at the UNNES 2023 Innovation Awards event. The categories of awards received are as follows:
- Prof. Woro Sumarni, awarded as Innovative Researcher Professor
- Prof. Nina and Prof. Santi, awarded as Innovative Patent Holders
- Prof. Dyah Rini, awarded as Innovative Journal Manager for Biosaintifika
- Prof. Supriyadi, awarded as Innovative Copyright Holder
- Prof. Niken, awarded as Innovative Industrial Designer
- Prof. Putut Marwoto, awarded for the Highest Number of Reputable Publications
- Prof. Enni, awarded as Innovative Community Server
- Two students, led by M. Akiyasul Azkiya, awarded for Innovative Work Creators. Their innovation is Edible Crayons made from Eggshell Waste and Natural Dyes for the Optimization of a Safe and Environmentally Friendly Golden Age for Children.
The UNNES 2023 Innovation Awards is an annual event organized by the Research and Community Service Institution of Universitas Negeri Semarang (LPPM UNNES). This event, now in its third year, serves as a platform for recognizing the contributions of students, professors, and the community in the fields of innovation and community service.
The event took place in person at the Borobudur Room, LPPM UNNES building, and awarded several categories, including Innovation, Intellectual Property and Commercialization, Researchers and Community Servers, Publications, and Outstanding Village categories for students, professors, and the community in Central Java.
The Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at UNNES, along with the academic community, extends their congratulations to Prof. Woro Sumarni, Prof. Nina, Prof. Santi, Prof. Dyah Rini, Prof. Supriyadi, Prof. Niken, Prof. Putut Marwoto, Prof. Enni, and M. Akiyasul Azkiya and their team for the awards they have achieved. It is hoped that these awards will serve as motivation for new initiatives that continue to bring benefits to society.
