Wednesday, October 18, 2023, was a special day for FMIPA UNNES as it received blessings with the appointment of three new professors. The new professors of FMIPA are Prof. Dr. Wardono, M.Si., appointed as a professor in the field of Mathematics Learning Development, Prof. Dr. Sugianto, M.Si., appointed as a professor in the field of Electronic Material Physics, and Prof. Dr. Lisdiana, M.Si., appointed as a professor in the field of Anatomy Physiology and Human Behavior. The appointment ceremony was conducted together with three other new professors, namely Prof. Dr. Harry Pramono, M.Si. (FIK), Prof. Dr. Hari Bakti Mardikantoro, M.Hum. (FBS), and Prof. Dr. Tjaturahono Budi Sanjoto, M.Si. (FISIP).

The appointment ceremony was led by the Rector of UNNES, Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si., held at the UNNES Auditorium, Prof. Wuryanto Building, Sekaran Campus, and was broadcasted live on the UNNES YouTube channel starting at 08.30 AM WIB.

The appointment began with the reading of the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the appointment of professors by the Vice Rector for General Affairs and Finance of Universitas Negeri Semarang, Prof. Heri Yanto, M.B.A., Ph.D.

In his appointment as a Professor in the field of Mathematics Learning Development, Prof. Dr. Wardono, M.Si., delivered his inaugural lecture titled “Innovative TIK E-Learning Assisted Learning for Improving Mathematical Literacy and Character 4C in the Digitalization Era of the 21st Century.”

In his appointment as a Professor in the field of Electronic Material Physics, Prof. Dr. Sugianto, M.Si., presented his inaugural lecture titled “Wide Bandgap Semiconductor Materials Based on Gallium Nitride & Zinc Oxide: Fabrication, Properties, and Potential Applications.”

In her appointment as a Professor in the field of Anatomy Physiology and Human Behavior, Prof. Dr. Lisdiana, M.Si., delivered her inaugural lecture titled “Rambutan Skin Extract as a Recovery Agent for Smoking and Vaping.”

The appointment of the professors was conducted by the Rector of UNNES, Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si., and involved the hanging of a shawl. In his address, Rector UNNES Prof. Dr. S Martono, M.Si., extended congratulations and best wishes to the new professors while expressing gratitude for the addition of these UNNES Professors.

The Dean and the entire academic community of FMIPA UNNES extend their warm congratulations and best wishes to Prof. Dr. Wardono, M.Si., Prof. Dr. Sugianto, M.Si., and Prof. Dr. Lisdiana, M.Si., as well as to the three professors from FIK, FBS, and FISIP who were also appointed. It is hoped that this additional responsibility will increase the opportunity for their knowledge to be even more blessed and beneficial to all.

With the addition of these new professors, it is expected that it will further motivate the academic community at FMIPA UNNES to continue their work and strengthen UNNES and FMIPA as Innovative, Religious, Excellent, and Meaningful (Re-Uber) faculties, moving towards the vision of becoming a Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with international conservation insights.
