One of the professors from FMPA UNNES Semarang, Prof. Dr. Sudarmin, M.Si, has carried out secondment activities in the eastern region of Indonesia, specifically in Sindereng Rappa (SIDRAN) Makassar, South Sulawesi. Secondment activities are part of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s initiatives and serve as a form of off-campus duty for lecturers, contributing to the Main Performance Indicator (IKU).
This secondment activity lasted for five days and took place in-person at Universitas Sindereng Rappa in South Sulawesi. The theme and topic of the secondment were Curriculum Enhancement and Teaching Material Development. During this secondment program, Prof. Dr. Sudarmin, M.Si, conducted an evaluation and enhancement of the curriculum for six programs at Universitas Ichsan Sindereng Rappa. This included refining and reviewing the curriculum related to setting the vision, mission, goals, strategies, profile determination, the preparation of CPL (Course Program Learning), CPMK (Course Program Learning Outcomes), Sub CPMK, and even conducting workshops related to the Semester Program Plan (RPS) of courses, course descriptions, and assessment instruments. As for the Teaching Material Development program, a workshop was conducted on developing teaching materials based on TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge), resulting in the creation of six teaching materials in the form of textbooks, student worksheets (LKPD), and monographs.
At the end of the program, there was a closing ceremony during which the products of the secondment activities were handed over to the Rector of Universitas Sindereng Rappa, South Sulawesi. During the closing event, Prof. Dr. Sudarmin, M.Si, expressed his hope that the good work habits and practices established during the development of curriculum based on MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kurikulum) and OBE (Outcome-Based Education), as well as teaching materials based on TPACK, would continue to be maintained and improved upon.
