Students from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) have once again come up with an innovative idea through the Student Creativity Program (PKM) in the field of Entrepreneurship. This time, they introduce “Alluris Spray,” an environmentally friendly antibacterial spray soap designed to provide a relaxing experience without the need for rinsing. This product is made from silver nanoparticle and white watermelon meat waste.
The team led by Mariha Zulfa Risana from FMIPA UNNES includes Hanina Humaira (FEB), Gina Mulyani (FMIPA), and Deby Maghfira Prameswari (FMIPA). They successfully secured funding from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology’s PKM program with the title “Rinse-Free Antibacterial Spray Soap Combining Silver Nanoparticles and White Watermelon Meat Extract for Body Relaxation.”
“Alluris Spray” comes in three popular variants: Original, Bubble Gum, and Black Opium. The product is affordably priced, with a 60ml size priced at Rp 20,000 and a 150ml size priced at Rp 35,000. This idea emerged as a response to reducing food waste, especially fruits, and creating a product that benefits users. This soap can be used by people of all ages and professions, especially those with high mobility and limited time for personal hygiene.
Mariha and her team believe that this venture will reach the break-even point (BEP) and generate significant profits. They are currently implementing various stages of this project, including production, marketing, sales, and evaluation. They hope that their innovation will educate the public, address environmental issues related to domestic liquid waste, and enhance entrepreneurial skills. They aspire for “Alluris Spray” to achieve success not only at the National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS) but also become a well-recognized brand in society.
