The Physics Program of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) has organized UNNES Physics Talk #3 with the theme “Introduction to Optical Sensors and Their Applications.” The event took place on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 3:30 PM to 4:45 PM WIB (Western Indonesia Time) and was conducted online via the Zoom Meeting platform. UNNES Physics Talk #3 is one of the routine events of the Physics Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Semarang State University.

The opening of UNNES Physics Talk #3 was done by the Head of the Physics Program, Prof. Masturi, M.Si., who introduced the topic of discussion, which was Optical Sensors and Their Applications. Dr. Ian Yulianti, M.Si., a competent lecturer in the field of Electronics Physics and Physics Instrumentation at FMIPA UNNES, served as the speaker, providing insights into the topic. The session was moderated by Fifin Dewi Ratnasari, S.Si., M.Sc., a lecturer at FMIPA UNNES.

The participants of UNNES Physics Talk #3 included all the students of the Physics Program, totaling 65 participants. This event allowed all the students to gain a deeper understanding of optical sensors and their various applications in different fields of knowledge. Dr. Ian Yulianti, M.Si., delivered informative and relevant content, as reflected in the positive responses from participants who asked questions during the Q&A session. After this session, Fifin Dewi Ratnasari, S.Si., M.Sc., as the moderator, provided a summary of the material presented.

The event concluded with remarks from the Head of the Physics Program, Prof. Masturi, M.Si., emphasizing the excellence of the Physics Program in exploring various fields of knowledge. UNNES Physics Talk #3 left a positive impression on its participants, enhancing their knowledge of optical sensors and their applications.
