New Study Program at FMIPA UNNES: Bachelor’s Degree Program in Statistics and Data Science (SSD)

The Bachelor’s Program in SSD at FMIPA UNNES focuses on the study of statistical modeling and soft computing software. Graduates will acquire skills in data collection, data analysis using statistical techniques and machine learning, as well as problem-solving in the field of data science using statistical methods.

Graduate Profile:

Graduates of the Bachelor’s Program in Statistics and Data Science at Universitas Negeri Semarang are expected to be competent and proficient in the field of statistics, making them ready to enter the workforce as:

1. Academics and Researchers.
2. Practitioners in Statistics and Data Science.
   • Data Analysts in Various Fields.
   • Data Scientists Proficient in Data Processing Science and Technology.
   • Data Engineers Proficient in Data Management.

General Requirements:

1. Graduated from accredited high school (SMA/SMK/MA) in 2021, 2022, or 2023.
2. Maximum age of 22 years old at the time of registration.
3. For graduates from foreign countries, a certificate of equivalency from the Ministry of Education and Culture (KEMDIKBUD RISTEK) is mandatory.
4. Adequate health for learning.
