The PKM-AI team, led by Muhammad Isbat Amrullah, with the project titled “Comparative Effectiveness of Sterilization Methods on the Success of Initiating Shoots of Three Banana Clones In Vitro,” successfully qualified for the funding incentives from Kemdikbudristek 2023. This was communicated through Letter Number 4362/E2/KM.01.00/2023 regarding the Student Creativity Program (PKM) Incentives for the year 2023 on July 29, 2023.
The letter mentioned that in order to guide students to become individuals who understand rules, comply with regulations, and are creative, innovative, and cooperative in building intellectual diversity, the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs organized the Student Creativity Program (PKM) for the year 2023. The assessment of the PKM Scientific Article (PKM-AI) and the Written Futuristic Idea PKM (PKM-GFT) proposals has been conducted, and the list of incentive recipients is attached.
Regarding the disbursement of the incentive funds to the qualifying teams, the following provisions were mentioned:
- The incentive funds will be transferred to the university’s account, both for State and Private Universities.
- As per the taxation regulation PER-11/PJ/2015 and BPK’s recommendation, the incentive is subject to a 5% tax deduction, resulting in each title receiving Rp. 2,375,000 after tax deduction.
- The draft incentive document can be downloaded at https://s.id/UnduhInsentifPKM23, and the signed and stamped institution’s incentive document must be scanned and uploaded at https://s.id/UnggahInsentifPKM23 no later than August 7, 2023.
- The hard copy of the incentive document, signed and stamped by the institution, must be sent and received no later than August 11, 2023, at 4:00 PM WIB, to the address: Attn: Firda Arfiah Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Building D, 7th Floor, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Senayan, Jakarta 10270 (Subject: Student Creativity Program (PKM) Incentive Documents for the year 2023).
