Great news for FMIPA UNNES on the achievement of Biosaintifika Journal of Biology & Biology Education FMIPA UNNES being indexed in Scopus.

Biosaintifika Journal of Biology & Biology Education FMIPA UNNES was established in 2009 under the name Biosaintifika Berkala Ilmiah Biologi. Starting from Volume 5 Issue 2 in September 2013, the journal is published only three times a year in English. The journal’s name along with the subtitle was changed to Biosaintifika Journal of Biology & Biology Education.

Biosaintifika Journal of Biology & Biology Education [PISSN 2085-191X| EISSN 2338-7610] publishes scientific works on biology and biology education research. The editor accepts articles that have not been previously published in other media, following the manuscript writing guidelines (see Author Guidelines). The journal publishes articles three times a year in April, August, and December, in collaboration with the Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Semarang, in partnership with the Indonesian Biological Society at the central level.

In addition to being indexed in Scopus, Biosaintifika Journal of Biology & Biology Education FMIPA UNNES has obtained national accreditation SINTA 2 from the Ministry of Research and Technology/National Research and Innovation Agency for the period 2019-2024, Number 36/E/KPT/2019. The journal is indexed in various platforms such as Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic, DOAJ, Dimension, DOI Crossref, EBSCO, and CABI.

The Dean and the entire academic community of FMIPA UNNES extend their congratulations and success to Biosaintifika Journal of Biology & Biology Education FMIPA UNNES for being indexed in Scopus. Hopefully, with Scopus indexing, the journal can publish papers with even better writing quality and become a platform for the birth of significant papers in the field.
