The National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) conducted a virtual visitation to the Informatics Engineering Study Program at FMIPA UNNES from June 22nd to June 24th, 2023. The assessors from BAN-PT who conducted the visitation for the Informatics Engineering Study Program were Prof. Dr. Ir. Joko Lianto, M.Sc. from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh November, and Dr. Indra Budi, S.Kom., M.Kom. from the Universitas Indonesia. Both assessors were welcomed by Prof. Edy Cahyono, M.Si., the Dean of FMIPA UNNES.

The visitation lasted for three days and proceeded smoothly. On the first day, the activities began with the assessment opening, introduction of the assessor panel, and the reading and signing of the Field Assessment Statement. This was followed by a session with the Heads of Quality Assurance Units (UPPS) and Study Programs (Prodi) to confirm the macro policies of institutional development, the governance system, management system, reported institutional achievements, and the development plans of UPPS and Prodi.

The visitation agenda continued with the confirmation of Institutional Performance Data Sheet (LKPS) or Prodi Excel data, which was related to the determination of the final LKPS data used as the basis for quantitative item assessment. The activities of the first day concluded with a session with the Internal Quality Assurance Implementers, discussing the confirmation of implementation, results, and effectiveness of Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI), including the entire PPEPP cycle, checking standard documents, manuals, instruments/tools, periodic reports, and evidence of follow-up actions based on SPMI results.

On the second day, the team from the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) was taken on a campus tour to observe the facilities and infrastructure, such as classrooms, laboratories, libraries, administrative rooms, program and administrative offices, and others. After the campus tour, the next agenda included parallel sessions with Faculty Members/Staff and Alumni/Alumni Users & Students. The activities continued with a session with the Accreditation Team regarding the confirmation of data and information in the Self-Evaluation Report (LED). After the session, the next agenda involved the independent work of the assessor team in preparing the draft of the minutes and accreditation recommendations. The second day concluded with the submission of the draft Minutes to the Prodi and UPPS, feedback from the Prodi and UPPS, finalization of the Accreditation Minutes, signing of the Field Assessment Minutes, and submission of the Accreditation Results Recommendations to the Prodi and UPPS.

The Dean and the entire academic community of FMIPA UNNES extend congratulations and wish for the successful completion of the accreditation visitation by the BAN-PT assessor team. It is hoped that through this visitation, the Informatics Engineering study program will be able to obtain excellent accreditation from the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
