Semarang, May 28, 2023 – The Department of Arts and Sports of BEM FMIPA UNNES has successfully organized a vibrant and enthusiastic event, the Dean’s Cup FMIPA 2023. The event, held from May 1st to May 28th, 2023, has captured the attention of talented FMIPA UNNES students in the fields of arts and sports.
The Dean’s Cup FMIPA 2023 serves as a platform for FMIPA UNNES students to showcase their interests and talents in various fields, such as arts and sports. Through the conducted competitions, participants competed with high spirits in eight different categories. The art competitions, including Graphic Design, Solo Vocals, Photography, and Traditional/Modern Dance, provided opportunities for participants to express their creativity through different techniques and styles. Meanwhile, the sports competitions, such as Futsal, Badminton, Volleyball, and Mobile Legends, presented exciting competitive challenges for the participants.
The Dean’s Cup FMIPA 2023 event involved not only participants from FMIPA UNNES departments but also received full support from the Dean of FMIPA, the BEM FMIPA Advisor, the Governor of BEM FMIPA, and all HIMA (Study Program Association) in FMIPA UNNES. The success of this event demonstrates the spirit of collaboration and togetherness among FMIPA UNNES students.
In the lively closing ceremony, HIMA ILKOM emerged as the winner, earning the championship title and bringing home the Dean’s Cup for the year 2023. The winners were awarded by the Dean of FMIPA UNNES, Prof. Edy Cahyono, M.Si., who encouraged them to continue practicing and developing their talents to achieve national or even international recognition.
The Governor of BEM FMIPA, Septiyan Riyandi Suherman, expressed his hopes that collaborative activities like the Dean’s Cup can be further enhanced in the future. Such activities not only enrich the students’ experiences but also foster a healthy competitive spirit and inspire them to achieve higher accomplishments.
The Dean’s Cup FMIPA 2023 has successfully presented various talents and achievements of FMIPA UNNES students in the fields of arts and sports.
