The learning innovation competition for ASEAN students and teachers organized by FMIPA is part of the 58th UNNES Anniversary activities. The competition, which started with the launch of the ACLI 2023 website in early March, received responses from 42 participants from four countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. After a series of administrative processes, 15 participants were selected.
The Jury Team consists of:
- Associate Prof. Fabian Chin Leong Lim, Ph.D., from the National Technology University, Singapore.
- Associate Prof. Dr. Jewelson M. Santos from Cavite State University, Philippines.
- Professor Madya Dr. Mohd. Khairezan Rahmat from Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia.
- Prof. Dr. Ani Rusilowati, M.Pd., from FMIPA Universitas Negeri Semarang.
- Faris Ahmadi, M.Kom., Ph.D., from the Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Semarang.
- Dr. Rahina Nugrahani, M.Ds., from the Faculty of Language and Arts, Universitas Negeri Semarang.
Participants submitted YouTube links showcasing their developed learning innovations, which were evaluated by the jury team based on creativity and innovation, the quality of learning content, implementation, and effectiveness in learning.
For the teacher category, the winners were determined as follows:
1st Place: Sumaya, S.Pd. with the Snakes and Ladders Boardgame.
2nd Place: Jerry Puspitasari with their innovative product: Sensational Differentiated Learning ala Eccentric Teacher.
Joint 3rd Place:
a. Suniati with the innovative product of Differentiated Learning with Greeting Cards.
b. Boedi Siswanto with the innovative product of Volley Passing Atas Learning in the Merdeka Curriculum.
Suniati was absent during the prize distribution.
In the student category, the scores were highly competitive, so the top 3 were selected to present and answer 2 questions from 2 jury members during the Grand Final of the ASEAN Competition on Learning Innovation (ACLI) 2023 on Sunday, May 21, 2023, in a hybrid format. After a series of evaluations and discussions by the six jurors, the championship results were determined as follows:
1st Place: Novi Nuryanti from UNNES with the innovation of SATUSIK (Science is Cool) with a score of 621.
2nd Place: Errissa Kystiena Yahya from UiTM Malaysia with the innovation of FitMy Application: A learning model for maintaining students’ health, with a score of 590.
3rd Place: Nur Kamilia Ardini Binti Azman Zamri from UiTM Malaysia with the innovation of The Adventure of Education Courseware with a score of 570.
The event began with the report from the chairman of the 58th DIES NATALIS, followed by the Dean’s address, and concluded with a photo session and hopes for the future implementation of ACLI by Dr. Fabian and Prof. Ani.
