On Thursday, May 4, 2023, FMIPA UNNES successfully held the opening ceremony of Khataman Al-Qur’an offline at the Baitul ‘Alim Mosque (MBA). FMIPA UNNES was chosen as the host for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Khataman Al-Qur’an, which will be held 58 times. This Khataman Al-Qur’an event is part of a series of activities organized in conjunction with the 58th Anniversary of Semarang State University (UNNES).
The opening ceremony of Khataman Al-Qur’an was attended by the Rector of UNNES, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Vice Rector for Planning, General Affairs, Human Resources, and Finance, Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Information Systems, Vice Rector for Cooperation, Business, and International Relations, Deans of FIP, FBS, FIS, FMIPA, FT, FIK, FE, FG, Director of Postgraduate Program, Head of LPPM, LP3, Vice Deans of MIPA, Vice Deans for Student Affairs of FIP, FBS, FIS, FMIPA, FT, FIK, FE, and FH, Vice Director 2 of Postgraduate Program, Secretary of LPPM, LP3, Head of BUHK, BAKK, BPK, Chairman of Masjid Ulul Albab (MUA) Mosque, Chairman of Baitul ‘Alim (MBA) Mosque, FMIPA, Chairman of the FMIPA Department, Secretary of the FMIPA Department, Head of FMIPA Laboratories, Coordinator of FMIPA Programs, Coordinator of FMIPA Administrative Office, Sub-Coordinator of FMIPA, and the UNNES Khataman Qur’an Committee.
The opening ceremony of Khataman Al-Qur’an began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by the committee. The event continued with speeches by the Dean of FMIPA UNNES, Dr. Sugianto, M.Si., as the Chairman of the 58th Anniversary of UNNES Committee, and a speech by the Rector of UNNES represented by Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, M.T., IPM, as the Vice Rector for Cooperation, Business, and International Relations. After the speeches, the Khataman Al-Qur’an activity commenced.
Khataman Al-Qur’an will be held 58 times within the UNNES campus, following the schedule as follows:
