Dr. Lee introduced the profile of NCUE and opened opportunities for UNNES students to continue their Master’s and Ph.D. studies at NCUE. In addition, NCUE also offers a Summer Course program for students from all over the world to come to Taiwan and learn about the local culture. On this occasion, Dr. Lee was accompanied by one of the alumni of the Department of Chemistry, Abizard Sarno, who is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at NCUE.
“Brother Abizard is a good example of Indonesian students at NCUE, where he has good skills and knowledge. This proves that UNNES has good educational standards. NCUE is very interested in working with UNNES because NCUE and UNNES are universities that both have a strong educational background,” said Dr. Lee.
After being received by the Rector and the team in the Rectorate Building, Dr. Lee visited the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) and signed an agreement with the Dean of FMIPA, Dr. Sugianto, M.Si, and Vice Dean I, Dr. Masrukan, M.Si. Dr. Sugianto, M.Si welcomed the cooperation between UNNES and NCUE and hoped that the cooperation could be implemented through various activities that could be carried out at FMIPA. Furthermore, Dr. Lee visited the chemistry laboratory and provided information about studying at NCUE to chemistry students. The event was attended by the Head of the Chemistry Department, Dr. Sigit Priatmoko, M.Si, and the Chemistry Coordinator, Cepi Kurniawan, Ph.D. The students who received the information showed enthusiasm in discussing with Dr. Lee.
