On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, the inauguration of officials from the Student Organization (LK) and Student Activity Units (UKM) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Semarang State University (UNNES), was held offline at the D4 building on the 3rd floor. The inauguration procession was carried out by the Dean of FMIPA, Dr. Sugianto M.Si. In his speech, Dr. Sugianto M.Si conveyed the importance of a leader of an organization having leadership skills to be able to develop and run the organization well, so that the goals of the organization can be achieved.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Parmin, M.Pd., as well as all Department Administrators and Student Assistants within FMIPA.
The student organizations inaugurated consisted of 8 (eight) Student Organizations, 7 (seven) Student Activity Units, and 23 (twenty-three) Semi-Autonomous Board within FMIPA. The Student Organizations consisted of the Faculty Student Executive Board (BEMF), the Faculty Student Representative Council (DPMF), and 6 (six) Student Organizations at the department level, namely: the Mathematics Student Association, the Biology Student Association, the Chemistry Student Association, the Physics Student Association, the Science Student Association, and the Computer Science Student Association. Each Student Association at the department level has an equivalent student council called the Student Association Supervisory Body (BPH).
The Student Activity Units (UKM) consisted of the Scouts, the Student Scientific Center, Bina Vokalia, the Forum for Islamic Students, the Association of Bidikmisi Students, the Mathematics English Club, and Entrepreneurship.
The Semi-Autonomous Board (BSO) totaled 23 (twenty-three) and were held by each Student Association at the department level, namely: the Mathematics Study Club, the Mathematics English Club, the Mathematics Journalism Club, the Mathematical Scientific Group, SIGMA, The Mate, Palafi (Physics Nature Lover), Kosmik (Physics Study Group), FKIF (Physics Islamic Study Forum), Pelatuk Bird Study Club, Jasmina Study Center, Familia, Cempaka Bio Farm, Chevent (Nature Lover), the Chemistry Scientific Group, the Islamic Spiritual Group, Morse, KIIT (Scientific), Sceva (Nature Lover), Alhusna, Screenshot, Palatikom, and I-Secret.
May this inauguration of student organizations bring blessings and a new spirit to FMIPA Innovative, Religious, Excellent, and Meaningful (Re-Uber) towards the vision of becoming an internationally renowned Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences with a conservation perspective.
