Pada hari Sabtu dan Minggu, 29 – 30 Oktober 2022, Himpunan Mahasiswa Fisika FMIPA UNNES telah sukses menyelenggarakan kegiatan Grand Closing Pekan Ilmiah Fisika ke-33 Tingkat Nasional 2022 atau PIF XXXIII.

PIF XXXIII merupakan agenda besar Himpunan Mahasiswa Fisika yang bertemakan “Eksistensi Peran Saintis Muda dalam Menciptakan Karya Guna Menyongsong Generasi Emas Indonesia yang Berpotensi” yang akan memberikan kreasi serta inovasi sebagai kontribusi nyata untuk negeri. Tahun ini, PIF XXXIII menghadirkan rangkaian kegiatan yang terdiri dari Seminar Nasional dan Seminar Paralel, Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah Siswa Tingkat SMA/MA Sederajat, Kompetisi Fisika Tingkat SMA/MA Sederajat, Kompetisi Fisika Tingkat SMP/MTS Sederajat, dan Lomba Esai Mahasiswa. Serangkaian kegiatan mulai diselenggarakan pada 18 September s.d 30 Oktober 2022.

Kegiatan Grand Closing PIF XXXIII (29/10) dibuka secara daring oleh Didi Riyadi selaku Ketua Panitia PIF XXXIII. Setelah pembukaan, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan presentasi secara offline di gedung FMIPA UNNES. Turut diselenggarakan Field Trip peserta mengelilingi kampus UNNES dengan menggunakan Bus Shuttle.

Penganugerahan kejuaraan dilaksanakan pada 30 Oktober 2022 yang diserahkan oleh Dr. Parmin, M.Pd., Dr. Suharto Linuwih, M.Si. dan Dr. Drs. M. Aryono Adhi, M. Si. Kegiatan Grand Closing ditutup oleh Dekan FMIPA UNNES yang diwakili oleh Dr. Parmin, M.Pd. selaku Wakil Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan menggunakan simbolis pemukulan gong sebanyak 3 kali. Kegiatan diakhiri pemutaran video serangkaian kegiatan PIF XXXIII.
