Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) mendapatkan Anugerah Insan Publikasi Nasional Sinta Awards 2019 dari Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi (Kemristekdikti).
Kali ini Jurnal Pendidikan IPA Indonesia (JPII) yang diterbitkan UNNES berhasil mendapat penghargaan sebagai Jurnal Terbaik III. JPII yang terindeks Scopus sejak 2017 memiliki kekuatan di Sitasi Scopus karena jumlah sitasi pertahun melebihi jumlah artikel yang diterbitkan. Rata-rata sitasi 2 tahun terakhir di Google Scholar lebih dari 700 per tahun. Kekuatan yang dimiliki menempatkan jurnal ini terbaik ketiga dari 2.700 jurnal terakreditasi di Sinta.
Dr Parmin MPd sebagai Chief Editor JPII menyampaikan komitmen yang kuat untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas artikel dan integritas pengelolaan yang professional.
Rektor UNNES menyampaikan bahwa perolehan penghargaan ini merupakan hasil kerja keras dari pengelola jurnal JPII. Kedepan semua jurnal di UNNES didorong untuk terus meningkatkan kualitasnya melalui akreditasi.
Sinta Awards adalah penghargaan bergengsi yang diadakan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan Kemenristekdikti menyelenggaralan Anugerah Insan Publikasi Nasional tahun 2019. Ada 5 kategori kali ini, penulis terbaik, jurnal terbaik, PT dengan Paten terbanyak, Inventor dan penulis paling produktif.
