Semarang, Indonesia — The Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Negeri Semarang (FT UNNES) hosted three academics from the Faculty of Mechanical & Automotive Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Malaysia, as part of its Inbound Visiting Lecturer Program held from October 26 to 28, 2026. The program provided a platform for academic exchange, curriculum development discussions, research collaboration, and knowledge sharing between the two institutions.
The visiting academics were Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Amir Abdul Razak, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Nasrul Hadi bin Johari, and Ts. Dr. Luqman Hakim Bin Ahmad Shah. Their participation offered faculty members and students at FT UNNES an opportunity to engage with international academic perspectives, particularly in engineering education, scientific research, and technological innovation.
The program officially commenced on Monday, October 26, 2026, with an opening ceremony at the FT UNNES Dean’s Office. The first day’s activities included a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) addressing the role of higher education in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), followed by a collaborative dialogue on sustainable curriculum development.
