Bali — Dosen dan mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Politik, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (FISIP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) melaksanakan kunjungan lapangan ke Desa Adat Panglipuran, Bali, untuk mempelajari secara langsung praktik politik lokal yang berkembang di masyarakat. Kegiatan tersebut merupakan bagian dari pembelajaran Mata Kuliah Politik Lokal.

Kunjungan lapangan pada 28 September 2026 tersebut disambut baik oleh Kepala Adat Desa Panglipuran, I Wayan Budiarta. Dalam kesempatan tersebut, I Wayan Budiarta memaparkan berbagai aspek politik lokal yang diterapkan dalam kehidupan masyarakat Desa Adat Panglipuran, termasuk keberadaan aturan adat serta nilai-nilai budaya yang menjadi pedoman dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.

Menurutnya, kehidupan masyarakat di Desa Adat Panglipuran tidak terlepas dari keberadaan aturan adat dan budaya yang telah diterapkan secara turun-temurun. Hal tersebut menjadi bagian penting dalam memahami bagaimana tata kehidupan masyarakat lokal dibangun dan dijalankan melalui mekanisme adat.

Dosen Pengampu Mata Kuliah Politik Lokal, Erisandi Arditama, turut menyampaikan perspektif mengenai politik lokal melalui perbandingan antara praktik politik lokal di Bali dan Jawa. Perbandingan tersebut memberikan pemahaman kepada mahasiswa mengenai adanya perbedaan karakteristik, mekanisme, serta nilai-nilai lokal yang memengaruhi tata kelola kehidupan masyarakat di masing-masing daerah.

Kegiatan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan diskusi antara dosen, mahasiswa, dan pihak Desa Adat Panglipuran. Dalam sesi tersebut, mahasiswa aktif mengajukan berbagai pertanyaan terkait praktik kehidupan masyarakat adat. Salah satunya disampaikan oleh Haidar Ali, mahasiswa Ilmu Politik, yang menanyakan mengenai bagaimana privasi masyarakat dapat tetap terjaga di tengah kehidupan komunitas adat yang memiliki ikatan sosial yang kuat.

Diskusi tersebut menjadi bagian penting dari proses pembelajaran karena mahasiswa tidak hanya memperoleh pemahaman mengenai politik lokal secara teoritis, tetapi juga dapat melihat secara langsung bagaimana aturan adat, budaya, dan kehidupan sosial masyarakat saling berkaitan dalam praktiknya.

Melalui kunjungan lapangan ini, dosen dan mahasiswa Ilmu Politik FISIP UNNES memperoleh pengalaman pembelajaran kontekstual mengenai politik lokal. Kegiatan tersebut diharapkan dapat memperluas wawasan mahasiswa dalam memahami keragaman praktik politik dan tata kehidupan masyarakat lokal di Indonesia.
