UNNES Psychology – On February 19, 2026, the Psychology Study Program at Semarang State University (UNNES) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with the Semarang State Special Education School (SLB). This event reflects the commitment of both institutions to building sustainable collaboration in support of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the areas of education, research, and community service. The collaboration focuses on developing psychological services for students with special needs.

The signing of the cooperation agreement was conducted by the Coordinator of the UNNES Psychology Study Program, Dr. Anna Undarwati, S.Psi., M.A., Ph.D., representing the UNNES Psychology Study Program. The event proceeded solemnly and began with a discussion regarding various forms of collaboration to be developed by both parties. The discussion emphasized the importance of synergy between higher education institutions and special schools in supporting inclusive educational services based on students’ needs.

The scope of the agreed collaboration includes the implementation of fieldwork and student internship programs, collaborative research on education and the psychology of children with special needs, the development of psychological assessment and intervention programs, community service activities, and the organization of joint training sessions and workshops. These various programs are expected to benefit students, educators, and learners at the Semarang State Special Education School.

Through the signing of this cooperation agreement, the UNNES Psychology Study Program and the Semarang State Special Needs School are expected to strengthen their collaboration in developing more optimal educational and psychological services. This cooperation also serves as a strategic step in improving the quality of education and supporting the psychological well-being of students with special needs in a sustainable manner.
