SEMARANG – The Faculty of Law at Semarang State University (UNNES) continues to implement the university’s tridharma that directly impacts the community. On April 24, 2026, the FH UNNES Post Doc Research team conducted an academic visit and observation at the Women and Children Protection UPTD at the Trauma Center Shelter (RPTC).

This strategic visit is a tangible demonstration of the faculty’s commitment to strengthening collaborative research and community service. Through this cross-institutional synergy, FH UNNES aims to better understand the dynamics of legal protection while also supporting the psychological recovery of women and children who have been victims of violence.

This academic step brings a new dimension to the institution’s contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 3 on Good Health and Well-being. The involvement of legal academics in evaluating the effectiveness of RPTC facilities indirectly supports the assurance of proper mental health services and trauma recovery for victims. Good law enforcement is never complete without guaranteeing the psychological well-being of those affected.

Through this collaborative research, FH UNNES hopes to develop more comprehensive policy recommendations to ensure a safe, fair, and victim-friendly environment.
