SEMARANG – The Faculty of Law at Semarang State University (UNNES) continues to strengthen its collaboration with various legal professional institutions to produce high-quality graduates. On April 26, 2026, FH UNNES along with the Semarang City branch of PERADI officially conducted a joint evaluation activity as the closing event of the Special Education for the Advocate Profession (PKPA) program.
The faculty stated that this agenda is a tangible expression of their commitment to enhancing institutional synergy and improving the quality of legal professional education in Indonesia. This evaluation is a crucial step to ensure that the curriculum and training methods provided can produce advocates who are not only professional and competitive, but also uphold high integrity.
Interestingly, the vision of producing advocates with integrity is aligned with the global SDG 1 goal of No Poverty. In practice, graduates from the PKPA FH UNNES program are expected to become pillars of justice for underprivileged communities through pro bono legal aid schemes. By ensuring equal access to justice, the advocacy profession also helps prevent structural poverty that often happens due to the powerlessness of small communities in the face of the law.
Looking ahead, FH UNNES and PERADI have agreed to continue strengthening this strategic cooperation, to advance excellent legal education that has a broad impact on society and is sustainable.
