SEMARANG – The Faculty of Law at Semarang State University (UNNES) held a ceremony to commemorate Pancasila Day on June 1, 2026. With the national theme “Realizing the Spirit of Unity for a Peaceful and Just Indonesia,” the commemoration was attended with sincerity by all leaders, teaching staff, and students.
The faculty stated that Pancasila Day is an important moment for educational institutions to reaffirm their commitment to nationalism. The UNNES Law Faculty family invites the entire academic community not only to make Pancasila the nation’s identity but also as a guide to creating a harmonious, democratic, and civilized life.
The call to practice the noble values of Pancasila in education, law enforcement, and community service aligns closely with achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specifically, this commitment is a key foundation in supporting SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). A deep understanding of social justice and unity is an absolute prerequisite for creating a strong and fair national legal system. Through this commemoration, FH UNNES hopes that the values of Pancasila will continue to be a unifying force as well as a foundation for building an advanced Indonesia that can contribute to world peace.
