Mission
Based on that vision, the Faculty of Language and Arts at UNNES has a mission to build a literate and academically functional society by:
• Providing culturally-oriented academic education to produce education and non-education professionals with internationally competent skills in the fields of Indonesian, Javanese, English, French, Japanese, Arabic, and Mandarin language and literature, as well as fine arts, dance, and music.
• Conducting high-quality and culturally-oriented research to produce advancements in language, literature, and arts and cultivate reliable and trustworthy human resources in language and arts research.
• Providing useful and targeted community service to help solve issues that arise in society related to language, cultural, and arts skills and knowledge.
• Establishing mutually beneficial partnerships with various local, regional, national, and international organizations to create a conducive academic culture with an entrepreneurial spirit.
