Unnes Ngundhuh Guru Besar

Pengukuhan pada Rabu(16/3) pagi itu di auditorium kampus Sekaran melengkapi jumlah guru besar Universitas Negeri Semarang, hingga genap jadi 70 orang. Ketiganya, yang berasal dari disiplin ilmu berbeda, itu resmi menyandang  gelar profesor masing-masing ke-68, ke-69, dan ke-70.

Mereka adalah Tri Marhaeni Pudji Astuti, Hardi Suyitno, dan  Achmad Slamet. Tri Marhaeni Pudji Astuti (FIS) dikukuhkan sebagai guru besar bidang ilmu sistem sosial budaya. Dialah  dosen peneliti yang fokus pada kajian terhadap perempuan. Tak mengherankan jika  pidato pengukuhannya bertajuk  Penghargaan Sosial Semu dan Liminalitas Perempuan Migran.

“Selama  menjadi TKW ilegal di Malaysia, saya melihat betapa teman-teman TKW dari Filipina begitu berdaya dan bisa berkomunikasi dengan siapa saja dengan enak. Berbeda ddari  perempuan migran di Arab Saudi dan Malaysia,” paparnya.

Hardi Suyitno (FMIPA) dikukuhkan sebagai guru besar bidang filsafat matematika. Ia menyampaikan pidato pengukuhan berjudul Nilai-Nilai Matematika dan Relevansinya dengan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. Paparannya itu menandaskan bahwa pendidikan matematika berpotensi untuk menumbuhkan nilai-nilai yang ingin ditumbuhkan dalam PKn. “Masalahnya,  bagaimana merevitalisasi pendidikan matematika untuk ikut membangun karakter bangsa?” ungkapnya.

Adapun Achmad Slamet (FE) dikukuhkan sebagai guru besar bidang manajemen pemasaran. Ia menyampaikan pidato pengukuhan berjudul Kepemimpinan Dalam Manajemen Strategis Jasa Pendidikan. Menurutnya, melibatkan guru dalam suatu pengambilan keputusan yang penting di satuan pendidikan akan membawa kepala satuan pendidikan menjadi orang yang professional.

Rektor Unnes, Sudijono Sastroatmojo menyambut gembira atas  pengukuhan tiga guru besar itu. “Semoga dapat meningkatkan kualitas SDM tenaga pengajar Unnes. Semakin banyak guru besar, semakin tinggi peluang mencerdaskan mahasiswa Unnes menjadi unggul dan berkarakter,” ungkapnya.

    Mohon izin bertanya ke pengelola web UNNES khususnya program Pascasarjana,, kenapa Guru Besar FE yang selalu menjadi dosen terfavorit kami, Prof. Dr. Hj. Rusdarti, M.Si. tidak dicantumkan dalam daftar dosen PPS?
    mohon penjelasan.
