Tetap Berprestasi Di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19, Mahasiswa Sosiologi dan Antropologi UNNES Raih Juara 1

Mahasiswa Jurusan Sosiologi dan Antropologi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (FIS) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Elsa lutmilarita Amanatin dan Muh Iqbal Arif Amrullah berhasil menjuarai Sociology and Anthropology National Essay Competition (SANEC) Tahun 2020.

Mereka berhasil menjadi yang terbaik dari 15 tim finalis yang mengikuti sesi final SANEC yang diikuti oleh mahasiswa diseluruh Indonesia pada Sabtu (25/7) yang diselenggarakan secara online (Zoom Meeting) oleh Himpunan Mahasiswa Sosiologi dan Antropologi (HIMA SOSANT) FIS UNNES.

SANEC 2020 dengan tema “Peran Generasi Millenial Dalam Menghadapi Tantangan Global melalui Optimalisasi Pembangunan dan Revitalisasi Kearifan Lokal untuk Mencapai Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030, diikuti oleh 105 Tim dengan jumlah 234 peserta dari 44 Perguruan Tinggi se Indonesia. Final lomba digelar secara online dengan media Zoom.

Wakil Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan UNNES, Dr Abdurrahman MPd sangat mengapresiasi prestasi yang diraih mahasiswa jurusan Sosiologi dan Antropologi Elsa lutmilarita Amanatin dan Muh Iqbal Arif Amrullah. Beliau berharap di tengah situasi pandemi covid-19 ini mahasiswa tidak mengurangi produktivitasnya untuk terus meraih prestasi.

“Selamat kepada Elsa lutmilarita Amanatin dan Muh Iqbal Arif Amrullah yang telah meraih juara 1 Sociology and Anthropology National Essay Competition (SANEC) Tahun 2020. Perlu kita ingat, di masa pandemi covid-19 tidak menjadi halangan untuk mahasiswa meraih prestasi. Produktivitas harus tetap ditingkatkan. Semoga prestasi yang sudah diraih Elsa lutmilarita Amanatin dan Muh Iqbal Arif Amrullah bisa menjadi motivasi mahasiswa yang lain. UNNES bangga kepada mahasiswa berprestasi,” kata Dr Abdurrahman.

Dekan FIS UNNES, Dr  Moh Solehatul Mustofa MA atas nama FIS UNNES mengucapkan selamat dan sukses atas terselenggaranya SANEC 2020 dengan baik. Beliau juga mengucapkan selamat bagi para pemenang dan peserta lainnya yang telah berusaha semaksimal mungkin dan  berkontribusi dalam kegiatan SANEC 2020, sampai jumpa pada event SANEC selanjutnya di tahun depan.

Wakil Dekan Bidang Kemahasiswaan FIS UNNES, Prof Dr Eva Banowati MSi didampingi oleh Ketua Jurusan Sosiologi dan Antropologi, Asma Luthfi SThi Mhum saat pembukaan menyampaikan bahwa SANEC diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah dari hasil kreatifitas mahasiswa dalam bidang penulisan karya ilmiah, dan meningkatkan kepekaan terhadap keberagaman perbedaan yang ada di Indonesia, serta meningkatkan minat mahasiswa untuk mengembangkan keahlian dalam bidang penulisan karya ilmiah.

Dalam SANEC 2020  Juara 2 diraih oleh Tim Universitas Mataram atas nama Didin Setiawan, Nurhasanah, dan Rezi Cahya Nopia Azim, juara 3 dari Tim Universitas Mataram atas nama Titania Safira Nurhidayah dan Evi Sapitri. Sedangkan Best Presentation diraih oleh peserta dari Universitas Negeri Surabaya yakni Muhammad Yayan Putra Pratama, Widya Dwi Rahmawati, dan Dewi Kartika Sari.
