Perkuat Internasionalisasi, UNNES Gelar FGD Strategi Promosi dan Kemitraan Luar Negeri

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) terus mengukuhkan komitmennya dalam memperkuat internasionalisasi melalui berbagai inisiatif strategis. Salah satu langkah nyata yang diambil adalah penyelenggaraan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) bertajuk peningkatan kerjasama internasional, kemitraan strategis, dan promosi luar negeri yang digelar pada Rabu, (15/05/2024) bertempat di Joglo Ramayana, Melva Balemong Resort Ungaran.

Acara ini dihadiri oleh jajaran pimpinan universitas, seperti Wakil Rektor Bidang Kerjasama, Bisnis, dan Hubungan Internasional, Prof. Dr. Nur Qudus, M.T., IPM. dan Sekretaris Universitas, Prof. Dr. Sugianto, M.Si.

Selain Wakil Rektor IV dan Sekretaris Universitas, kegiatan ini juga diikuti oleh Wakil Dekan Bidang I, Wakil Dekan Bidang III, Direktur pada Direktorat, Gugus Kerjasama, dan Gugus Humas di lingkungan UNNES.

Hadir sebagai narasumber, Yayat Hendayana, S.S., M.Si. (Koordinator Kerjasama dan Humas Ditjen Dikti Ristek Kemdikbudristek), Firman Hidayat, S.S., M.Si. (Sub. Koordinator Kerjasama Ditjen Dikti Ristek Kemdikbudristek), dan Assoc. Prof. Maria Anityasari, Ph.D. (Kepala ITS Global Engagement).

Dalam sambutannya, Prof. Nur Qudus menekankan pentingnya peningkatan kerja sama internasional untuk mencapai visi UNNES sebagai universitas berkelas dunia yang unggul dalam pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

“Melalui FGD ini, kami berharap dapat merumuskan strategi yang komprehensif untuk mempromosikan program studi dan memperluas jaringan kemitraan global guna meningkatkan capaian kinerja IKU 6 sebagai penunjang capaian 7 IKU lainnya,” ujar Guru Besar Fakultas Teknik UNNES itu.

Diskusi yang berlangsung interaktif ini membahas berbagai topik strategis, mulai dari identifikasi mitra kerjasama sebagai gerbang utama branding internasional, optimalisasi media sosial dan platform digital, hingga pengembangan konten promosi yang sesuai dengan budaya dan preferensi lokal di berbagai negara.

Para peserta juga membahas pentingnya meningkatkan inovasi mobilitas dosen dan mahasiswa dalam program internasional, serta peluang dan tantangan dalam menjalin kerja sama dengan institusi pendidikan internasional.

Melalui FGD ini, UNNES berharap dapat semakin memperluas jejaring internasional dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui kolaborasi global yang lebih erat.
