Pemberdayaan Potensi Guru SMKN 1 Karimunjawa dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Pembelajaran Melalui Pembuatan PTK dan Artikel

Tim Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) dari Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Matematika FMIPA UNNES, yang terdiri atas Emi Pujiastuti, Sugiman, Walid, dan Fajar Syafaatullah telah kegiatan Pengabdian dengan melibatkan Sekolah Mitra, yakni SMKN 1 Karimunjawa, Jepara. Terlaksana pada tanggal 4 Agustus 2023. Permasalahan Sekolah Mitra: (1) Bagaimana meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pembuatan PTK? (2) Bagaimana meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pembuatan artikel yang berbasis pada praktik pembelajaran di kelas?

Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan di atas, dilakukan melalui: (1) Tim pengabdian masyarakat perlu mengenalkan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pembuatan PTK kepada guru SMKN 1 Karimunjawa. (2) Perlu diungkap keterampilan guru SMKN 1 Karimunjawa dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pembuatan artikel yang berbasis pada praktik pembelajaran di kelas. (3) Perlunya diberikan model simulasi pembelajaran dalam mendukung kegiatan PTK.

Hasilnya: Evaluasi kepada peserta (para guru SMKN 1 Karimunjawa) dilakukan melalui 2 tahap, yaitu tes tertulis dan penugasan. Selanjutnya kedua skor diambil rata-ratanya. (1) Tes tertulis digunakan untuk mengungkap pemahaman guru terhadap model-model pembelajaran,  PTK, dan penulisan artikel. (2) Model perangkat pembelajaran matematika berdasarkan model-model pembelajaran. Produk guru secara individual ini dinilai.

Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan, maka dapat diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut. Hasil akhir tes yang diperoleh guru, rata-rata kelas adalah 83,73. Rata-rata ini termasuk baik karena sudah di atas ketuntasan individual, yakni 75 dari skor maksimal 100.

Faktor Pendorong keberhasilan kegiatan ini: (1) Antusias para guru SMKN 1 Karimunjawa dalam mengikuti pelatihan ini besar. (2) Minat guru dalam praktik model-model pembelajaran,  bertanya tentang PTK, dan penulisan artikel cukup banyak. (3) Ada kesungguhan dari para guru untuk melaksanakan tugas mandiri, yaitu menyusun proposal dan mengerjakan tugas.
