Semarang, July 28, 2025 – The Conservation Subdirectorate of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) today held an intensive outreach program on data entry in the H-Bat system. This event aimed to ensure that every faculty and unit within UNNES understands and implements accurate data entry, in order to support UNNES’s international ranking in UI GreenMetric and the SDGs.
The H-Bat system is a specialized assessment platform designed to record all aspects categorized as Green, Clean, and Healthy in every faculty and unit building at UNNES. The data collected through this system will serve as concrete evidence used as the primary supporting data for the UI GreenMetric and SDGs assessment, a key indicator in international sustainable university rankings.
During this outreach program, the Conservation Subdirectorate team explained in detail the H-Bat assessment parameters, including energy efficiency, waste management, water conservation, indoor air quality, and environmental hygiene and health aspects. Representatives from each faculty and unit were given practical guidance and a live data entry simulation to ensure the process ran smoothly and met standards.
The Director of Academic, Student Affairs, and Conservation, Mulyo Widodo, S.Pd., M.M., emphasized the importance of active participation from all university elements. “The H-Bat system is not just a data entry platform, but rather a reflection of our shared commitment to realizing a sustainable and environmentally conscious campus. Accurate and complete data will significantly determine UNNES’s position in the UI GreenMetric and SDGs arena,” he said.
With this outreach, UNNES hopes that all faculties and units will immediately begin entering H-Bat data independently and accurately, so that preparations for this year’s UI GreenMetric and SDGs assessments can proceed optimally. This is a strategic step for UNNES to strengthen its position as an environmentally conscious and sustainable university on a global scale.
