In an effort to produce prospective educators with national insight, students of Pre-Service PPG Wave 1 of 2024, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) held a Work Exhibition with the theme “One Taste, Various Intentions, in Diversity to Realize Golden Indonesia 2045”. This event was held at the UNNES Cultural Village on Tuesday (09/24/2024) and became an event to showcase creativity as well as commitment to Indonesia’s diversity. Not only was it an exhibition of works, but it was also the culmination of the Leadership Project carried out by UNNES PPG students. A total of 642 students from 11 study programs participated, exhibiting their works that were full of nuances of diversity. Starting at 08.00 WIB and attended by the UNNES Chancellor and staff, the Director of Postgraduate Studies, and Deans from various faculties. The Work Exhibition was officially opened by Vice Chancellor 1, Prof. Dr. Zaenuri, M.Sc., Akt., who beat the gong as a sign of the start of the event. In his speech, Prof. Zaenuri emphasized the importance of the role of education in building a superior and integrated future generation.
Hanifian Rachmana, S.Pd., as the Chief Executive explained that this Exhibition of Works is not only to showcase the results of work, but also to be an official assessment for the PPG student Leadership Project.
“We want the work displayed to not only be inspiring, but also to show concrete achievements from the Leadership Project that has been implemented. This is also a form of real support from UNNES for the Kemendikbudristek program,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the Coordinator of PPG UNNES, Dr. Agus Yuwono, M.Si., M.Pd., praised the active role of students in designing and implementing this Exhibition of Works.
“All of these activities are organized and implemented by a committee consisting of students from various study programs. This is proof of their leadership,” he explained.
In addition to the exhibition, the Exhibition of Works was also enlivened by artistic entertainment, ranging from traditional dances to acoustic music performances. Visitors who attend, both students and the general public, can enjoy entertainment while exploring the works on display.
On the other hand, one of the PPG students, Maulinda Tri Muliasetyani, S.Pd., expressed that she felt proud and impressed.
“This Work Exhibition is very impressive and enjoyable. Creative, interesting, and certainly special,” she said
PPG UNNES 2024 Work Exhibition is not only a place to show off work, but also a forum to strengthen diversity in order to welcome Indonesia Emas 2045, showing that diversity can be a source of inspiration and innovation in the world of education.
