The Student Entrepreneurship Creativity Program Team (PKM-K) at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) is motivated to make products from liquid waste in order to serve as many people as possible due to the high amount of home liquid waste, particularly fruit waste.
The newly created invention is a spray-on antibacterial soap named “Alluris Spray” that is environmentally friendly.
Silver nanoparticles and leftover white flesh from watermelons are used to make this antimicrobial soap.
The purpose of Alluris Spray is to provide a calming body experience without the need for rinsing. It is very simple to use; all that is required is to spray soap on specific body parts and then rub. All ages and professions would benefit greatly from this, especially those with high levels of mobility and little free time.
People can purchase Alluris Spray in original, bubble gum, and black opium varieties for just IDR 20,000 for 60 mL and IDR 35,000,- for 150 mL.
The PKM-K team is confident that this company will turn a profit despite the low price, as it will eventually reach the break-even point (BEP). They are currently also handling the stages of production, marketing, sales, and evaluation.
Hanina Humaira (FEB), Gina Mulyani (FMIPA), and Deby Maghfira Prameswari (FMIPA) made up the team that was led by Mariha Zulfa Risana (FMIPA) and was successful in getting funding from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education worth IDR 9,000,000.00.
As their supervisor, Dr. Harjono, S.Pd, M.Sc., directed them.
The team’s main goals are to educate the public with their innovation, solve environmental issues with domestic and organic liquid waste, and foster entrepreneurship.
They anticipate that Alluris Spray will succeed not only during PIMNAS (National Student Science Week), but also go on to establish itself as a well-known brand in the larger society.
