As a continuation of the UGSR 2024 Workshop I with the theme Site & Infrastructure which was held on 10 June 2024, the Subdirectorate held Workshop II with the theme Energy & Climate Change and Water on Wednesday 10 June 2024 which was attended by junior and senior high school green school developers from various regions throughout -Indonesia (Central Java, East Java, West Java and East Kalimantan).
This workshop aims to provide information and strategies for filling out indicator forms in the 2024 UGSR within the scope of energy & climate change and water criteria. As a resource person in the Workshop, Dr. Ir. Ananto Aji, M.S. (Head of Arts, Culture and Character Values, UNNES Conservation Sub-Directorate) and Fisa Savanti, S.T., M.Ars. (UNNES Architecture Lecturer).
The Energy & Climate Change theme discusses 8 indicators, namely: (1) Efforts to efficiently use electricity: (2) Trends in electrical energy use in the last 4 months; (3) Average monthly electricity use; (4) Collaboration with other agencies in terms of developing renewable energy in schools; (5) Assignment of personnel in charge of energy at the school; (6) Participating in or organizing energy saving school seminars (webinars): (7) Energy management regulations; and (8) Energy awareness campaign. Meanwhile, the Water Theme discusses 10 indicators, namely: (1) Clean water sources; (2) Water use efficiency efforts; (3) Availability of rainwater storage tanks: (4) Rainwater treatment system; (5) Number of infiltration wells: (6) Number of biopores; (7) Availability of drainage/sewer infrastructure in the school area; (8) Utilization of water quality control systems; (9) Water use regulations; and (10) Campaign to save water use.
