On Wednesday, September 20, the Engineering International Conference (EIC) was organized for the eleventh time by the Faculty of Engineering at Semarang State University (FT UNNES). Participants and speakers at this conference highlighted ecologically friendly technology.
One of the largest engineering conferences in Indonesia had speakers from four different countries.
Professor Dr. Mahadzir Bin Ishak from Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Professor Dr. Samsudin Anis from Semarang State University, Professor Dr. Pornthipa Ongkunaruk, Ph.D., and Dr. Stéphane Bressan from the National University of Singapore were the four experts who spoke.
The conference served as a forum for technical scientists to exchange information, but it also served to foster teamwork.
The EICC, according to Dr. Wirawan Sumbodo ST MT, Dean of the UNNES Faculty of Engineering, signified a significant shift in global cooperation. For post-pandemic recovery, scientists must keep working together on innovation and the use of ecologically friendly technologies.
He claimed that engineering science played a crucial part in the development of ecologically friendly technology.
The symposium on technical advances and their applications, which may have an impact on survival, is centered on this concern for the environment.
He remarked, “The conversations and information exchange at this conference will help you and contribute to your work on this subject.
In order to address environmental challenges, which are now becoming global issues, engineering experts are seen as playing a crucial role. Engineering scientists, in Wirawan’s opinion, may aid in the preservation of the environment by developing ecologically acceptable technology ideas. For instance, creating electric automobiles and renewable energy sources to reduce city pollution.
There were 83 papers given during the conference in addition to speakers from four other nations. There are six clusters made up of the papers. Biomass and biotechnology, renewable energy, intelligent systems based on artificial intelligence, environmental monitoring, energy storage systems, and sustainable transportation are the six clusters.
