The Law Faculty of Semarang State University launched a diversity park located in the UNNES Faculty of Law Dean Building, Sekaran Gunungpati Campus, Semarang City, Thursday (22/12). This event was opened directly by the Chancellor of Semarang State University who was represented by the Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs Dr. Ngabiyanto MSi.
In his remarks, Dr. Ngabiyanto said that this Diversity Park is one of the uniqueness of the UNNES Faculty of Law as a representative form of diversity in Indonesia.
“As we know, Indonesia has a diverse cultural background that characterizes this nation. Indonesia has different tribes, religions, languages and cultures from one province to another. Indonesia’s wealth is also shown from the many islands that stretch wide with the natural wealth contained therein. This diversity should be cared for from an early age by anyone who admits that he or she is an Indonesian citizen,” said Dr. Ngabiyanto.
Dr. Ngabiyanto added that this diversity park is a concrete manifestation of the Law Faculty of Semarang State University in caring for diversity in Indonesia through the implementation of values of respecting diversity in every lecture and service.
This activity was attended by University leaders, Bureau Heads, Heads of Institutions and Deans at Semarang State University.
Year End Reflection and Mother’s Day Commemoration
On the occasion of launching the diversity park, the UNNES Faculty of Law also held year-end reflections and commemoration of Mother’s Day. In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Law Dr. Rodiyah SPd SH MSi expressed his gratitude to all lecturers, educational staff and students who had participated in the diversity park lunching activities, year-end reflections and commemoration of Mother’s Day.
“I thank you for the dedication and integrity of the Lecturers, Tendik and student representatives who are willing to attend to celebrate the launching of the diversity park, year-end reflections and Mother’s Day commemoration,” said the Dean in his speech.
The Dean of FH UNNES Dr. Rodiyah also reported on the achievements that the Faculty of Law had achieved in the past year. Rodiyah said that the uncertain era changes could be handled properly so as to be able to realize the achievements of the Key Performance Indicators. All the achievements that have been achieved are the result of the hard work of all of us, Mr/Ms Lecturers, Tendik and students.
