Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) continues to be committed to supporting the achievements of lecturers in the field of educational development at the national and international level. This achievement was received by the Lecturer of the Javanese Literature Study Program at the Faculty of Culture and Letters (FBS) UNNES, Dr. Hj. Prembayun Miji Lestari, M.Hum.. Senior Lecturer in Javanese Literature, UNNES, received the Outstanding Alumni Award from Sebelas Maret University (UNS) for his dedication to academics and the development of Javanese culture.
Dr. Prembayun, who is an alumnus of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB) UNS, currently serves as Head of the Javanese Literature Study Program at the Faculty of Culture and Letters (FBS) UNNES received the 2024 UNS Alumni Outstanding Award. The award was handed over directly in celebration of the 48th Anniversary UNS at the Inauguration Night for the 2024 UNS Alumni Award Recipients, on Thursday (7/3) evening in the Ballroom of the Ki Hadjar Dewantara Building, UNS.
The Head of the Javanese Literature Study Program completed his studies at the UNS Faculty of Cultural Sciences with brilliant achievements before continuing his academic career at UNNES. Under his leadership, the UNNES Javanese Literature Study Program has experienced many significant innovations and advances, both in the curriculum and community service activities that focus on preserving Javanese culture.
Plt. UNS Chancellor, Dr. Chatarina Muliana, S.H., S.E., M.H., expressed her appreciation to all the alumni who had been selected. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of the active role of alumni in the development of UNS and their real contribution to community life. The strong UNS alumni network, both at the faculty and university level, is a strength in developing UNS as a Legal Entity State University (PTNBH).
UNNES hopes that this award can continue to encourage and inspire students and other academic staff to achieve high achievements and make real contributions to society.
