Students from the Automotive Engineering Education program at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), won six gold awards and one silver award at the International Innovative & Creative Ideas Poster Competition (IICIPC) 2026. The results of the competition, organized by MNNF Network Malaysia, were announced on September 19, 2026.
A total of 314 scientific posters from seven countries participated in the event. The participating countries included Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates. The event served as a platform for participants to showcase creative ideas and innovations with the potential to address real-world issues in society.
The six gold awards were secured by UNNES Automotive Engineering Education student teams comprising Sahrul Mujab, Izaz Fikri Ardiansyah, Andre Kurniawan, and Rio Abie Nawaewu; as well as Fahmi Purwa Muarif, Rizki Bayu Samudra, Rizky Bima Putra, and Muhammad Wahyu Ridho Airlangga.
Gold awards were also won by the team of Ainun Malik Ibrahim, Muhammad Arif Hadiyanto, Abidin Biyan Muharram, and Ahmad Khoiril Anwar; and the team of Muhammad Naufal Rooif Riyanto, Henry Yusuf Cokro Buwono, Fiandhika Prasetia Primananda, and Yovi Eka Septian.
Two other gold-winning teams consisted of Fouad Doutta Kamal, Rizal Kurniawan, Abyan Kukuh Sunaryo, and Dava Fikri Alfian Sutanto; as well as Arsy Ariansyah, Ahmad Ibnu Salman, Nadjwa Reynafisya, and Muhammad Irfan Naufal Khakim. Meanwhile, a silver award was secured by a team comprising Dhimas Chatur Satriatama, Alif Pratama, Fadhilah Zahrah Aurelia, and Arya Tegar Bimantara.
In total, 28 Automotive Engineering Education students from UNNES, organized into seven teams, successfully won awards at the competition.
The IICIPC 2026 judging process involved 106 jurors. Each project was evaluated by two jurors as part of the organizers’ commitment to a fair and systematic assessment. Through scientific posters, participants were challenged to articulate the value of their ideas, clearly present their development results, and demonstrate the potential for practical application.
