SEMARANG, July 4, 2026 – The 25th Anniversary celebration of Architecture at Semarang State University (UNNES) erupted with warmth and extraordinary enthusiasm! On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the Grand Reunion of the UNNES Architecture Alumni Family was held at OPENAIRE in Semarang City. It was attended by approximately 70 alumni from the first class of 2001 to the current class of 2022, bringing with them an extraordinary amount of positive energy.

The most anticipated highlight of the event was the inauguration of a shared platform of pride, the UNNES ARCHITECTURE ALUMNI FAMILY ASSOCIATION. This inauguration marked a major step in strengthening the network of graduates across generations so they could support each other and make a tangible positive impact on their beloved alma mater.

More than just a reconnection, this Grand Reunion demonstrated a tangible commitment to educational advancement by awarding Alumni Service Scholarships totaling Rp2,500,000 in educational funds to two selected students. The assistance was presented by Hermawan, S.T., M.T., a representative of the first batch of Architectural Engineering alumni from UNNES.

Through this enthusiastic inaugural event, a strong sense of unity was forged, fostering synergy for the advancement of the study program and fostering the active involvement of the alumni network in the community, nation, and state.

The success of this historic event was witnessed and fully supported by the presence of the Deputy Dean 3 of the Faculty of Engineering, UNNES, Dr. Rudiyanto, S.Pd., M.T.; the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Study Program (Korprodi) of Architectural Engineering, Ar. Ir. Didik Nopianto A.N., M.T., IAI, GP.; and all the lecturers from the Undergraduate Study Program at UNNES, who were present to support the event from start to finish.

The spirit of togetherness fostered through the Grand Reunion and the establishment of the UNNES Architecture Alumni Association demonstrates our commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) through scholarships for students, and SDG 17 (Partnerships to Achieve the Goals) through strengthening collaboration and networks among alumni, academics, and various stakeholders. This ongoing synergy is expected to generate sustainable contributions to the advancement of higher education, the architectural profession, and future community development.

However, the most important achievement of all the SDGs is SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure) from this activity, given the numerous discussions on related and aligned projects from this activity.

Long live UNNES Architecture! Unite your steps, build the future!
