Rembang – Sinergi lintas sektor untuk mempercepat penurunan angka stunting kembali dilakukan di Kabupaten Rembang. Melalui pendekatan kesehatan mental dan ketahanan keluarga, sebanyak 30 peserta yang terdiri dari kader desa dan perwakilan remaja mengikuti pelatihan Peer Family Support: Penguatan Kapasitas Psikososial Kader Masyarakat Menuju Zero New Stunting pada Sabtu (27/6/2026).

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bertempat di Balai Desa Sumbergirang, Kecamatan Lasem ini, dihadiri secara langsung oleh Kepala Desa Sumbergirang, Bapak Edy Sunarno, beserta perwakilan pengurus PKBI Cabang Rembang, Harisa Laraswatie, S.Kep., M.Kes. Kehadiran para tokoh ini menjadi bentuk dukungan penuh terhadap peningkatan kapasitas kader di tingkat akar rumput.

Pelatihan ini diinisiasi dan difasilitasi oleh tim dosen Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi (FIPP) Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). Tim pengabdi ini diketuai oleh Hasna’ Pratiwi Kurwardani, S.Psi., M.Psi., Psi., dengan anggota Aftina Nurul Husna, S.Psi., M.A., Chamilul Hikam Al Karim, S.Psi., M.Psi., dan Tri Hutami Wardoyo, S.Pd., M.Ed.

Penyelenggaraan acara ini dilatarbelakangi oleh temuan bahwa penanganan stunting tidak bisa hanya mengandalkan pemenuhan gizi fisik semata. Stres dan tekanan psikologis yang dialami ibu terbukti berdampak langsung pada menurunnya kualitas pola asuh, kedisiplinan pemberian makan, serta keengganan memeriksakan anak ke fasilitas kesehatan.

Oleh karena itu, pelatihan ini memberikan manfaat langsung berupa pembekalan keterampilan Psychological First Aid (PFA) atau Pertolongan Pertama Psikologis bagi para kader. Melalui materi ini, kader desa kini dibekali metode penanganan krisis keluarga yang tepat melalui tiga langkah: mengamati kebutuhan warga (Look), mendengarkan keluh kesah secara empatik tanpa menceramahi (Listen), dan menghubungkan warga ke layanan kesehatan profesional apabila diperlukan (Link).

Selain PFA, peserta juga mendapatkan manfaat keterampilan teknis lainnya. Kader kini mampu mendeteksi dini tanda-tanda gangguan mental menggunakan metode skrining, memahami dinamika psikologis remaja untuk melancarkan komunikasi dalam keluarga, serta terampil membuat media edukasi visual menggunakan kecerdasan buatan (AI) guna memaksimalkan penyuluhan.

Ketua Tim Pengabdi, Hasna’ Pratiwi Kurwardani, menyampaikan harapan besar dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini. Ia menekankan bahwa peran kader di masyarakat kini semakin krusial dan meluas.

“Harapannya, fungsi kader tidak lagi hanya sebatas menimbang berat badan balita, tetapi benar-benar hadir memiliki kemampuan komunikasi yang baik untuk merespons keluh kesah warga. Dengan kader yang mampu menjaga privasi dan tidak menghakimi pola asuh ibu, diharapkan tercipta stabilitas psikologis di dalam keluarga. Jika mental orang tua sehat, pengasuhan akan optimal, dan cita-cita mewujudkan desa dengan Zero New Stunting dapat tercapai,” harap Hasna.
