Semarang – 21 Mei 2026. Tim peneliti Bimbingan dan Konseling FIPP Universitas Negeri Semarang secara resmi melaksanakan pembukaan kegiatan penelitian hibah dengan judul “Pengembangan Model Psikoedukasi Kelompok Berbasis Character Strengths untuk Meningkatkan Resiliensi Penyintas Bencana Siswa SD Kota Semarang” pada hari ini di SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang.

Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program Penelitian Kolaborasi Antar Lembaga yang didanai oleh Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi Universitas Negeri Semarang. Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan model psikoedukasi kelompok berbasis character strengths sebagai upaya meningkatkan resiliensi siswa sekolah dasar penyintas bencana.

Pembukaan kegiatan dihadiri oleh tim peneliti, kepala sekolah, guru, serta mitra kolaborasi penelitian. Dalam sambutannya, ketua peneliti menyampaikan bahwa anak-anak penyintas bencana membutuhkan penguatan psikologis yang sistematis agar mampu bangkit, beradaptasi, dan berkembang secara positif setelah mengalami situasi krisis dan bencana.

“Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan model psikoedukasi yang aplikatif, kontekstual, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam membangun resiliensi melalui penguatan karakter positif,” ungkap ketua peneliti Firdian Setiya Arinata, M.Pd.

Model yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada penguatan character strengths atau kekuatan karakter positif siswa, seperti rasa ingin tahu (curiosity), semangat belajar (love of learning), harapan (hope), keberanian (bravery), ketekunan (perseverance), dan semangat hidup (zest). Pendekatan tersebut dipandang penting dalam membantu siswa menghadapi dampak psikologis akibat pengalaman bencana.

Kepala SD Supriyadi 02 Semarang, Karsono, M.Pd. menyampaikan apresiasi atas pelaksanaan penelitian ini dan berharap hasil penelitian nantinya dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi penguatan layanan bimbingan dan konseling serta pendidikan tangguh bencana di sekolah dasar.

Kegiatan penelitian ini secara resmi dimulai pada tanggal 21 Mei 2026 hingga beberapa bulan ke dapan, dengan anggota peneliti:

Selain pengembangan model, penelitian juga akan melibatkan kegiatan asesmen, implementasi layanan psikoedukasi kelompok, serta evaluasi efektivitas model yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi sekolah, konselor, dan pemangku kebijakan dalam mendukung kesehatan psikologis anak penyintas bencana.

Melalui kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan sekolah, penelitian ini menjadi bentuk nyata kontribusi akademisi dalam mendukung penguatan resiliensi dan kesejahteraan psikologis peserta didik di wilayah rawan bencana.
