Semarang, September 23, 2026 — The Faculty of Education (FIP) of Universitas Negeri Malang conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The activity was held in Meeting Room 2 of the FIPP UNNES Dean’s Office and served as a forum for sharing experiences and strategies in faculty management, particularly regarding income generation and the Integrity Zone (Zona Integritas).
The activity began with remarks from the Dean of FIPP UNNES Prof. Edy Purwanto, M.Si., followed by remarks from a representative of FIP Universitas Negeri Malang. The FIP Universitas Negeri Malang delegation consisted of five representatives from the faculty, including lecturers and a head of administrative affairs. FIPP UNNES was represented by the Vice Deans, Heads of S1, S2, and S3 Study Programs, as well as the Head of Administrative Affairs.
The discussion focused on two main topics: income generation and the Integrity Zone. These topics were selected as the main focus of the benchmarking visit because both UNNES and Universitas Negeri Malang have the status of State Universities with Legal Entity Status (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Badan Hukum/PTNBH). This status encourages both institutions to continuously develop strategies and governance practices that support institutional independence, performance improvement, and stronger services.
Regarding income generation, the discussion focused on strategies and experiences in developing potential revenue sources that can support the sustainability and development of faculty programs. Meanwhile, the discussion on the Integrity Zone focused on experiences and strategies for establishing transparent, accountable, and service-oriented governance.
The benchmarking activity took place in an open and constructive atmosphere. Both faculties shared experiences, good practices, and various strategies that have been implemented in responding to the demands of higher education management as PTNBH institutions. The forum is expected to serve as a shared learning platform while strengthening institutional relations between FIPP UNNES and FIP Universitas Negeri Malang.
Through this activity, FIPP UNNES continues to promote a culture of sharing good practices and strengthening networks among higher education institutions. The exchange of experiences related to income generation and the Integrity Zone is expected to provide new insights for both faculties in improving governance, institutional independence, and the quality of academic and non-academic services.
