Semarang, June 23, 2026 – The Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Semarang State University (UNNES) held an international public lecture featuring Dr. Jonathan Loo from Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom, as the keynote speaker. The event, held in the 3rd Floor of the FIPP Dean’s Hall, was attended by 150 students from various study programs within FIPP.
This public lecture is one of a series of research activities within the EQUITY program, a collaborative initiative that supports strengthening research capacity and international academic networks. Through this forum, students gained insight into global research developments, opportunities for international collaboration, and the importance of innovation in addressing various challenges in the fields of education and psychology.

The event was coordinated by the Vice Dean for Business, Research, and Cooperation at FIPP, as part of the faculty’s commitment to expanding strategic partnerships with world-renowned universities. The presence of Dr. Jonathan Loo’s lecture provided a crucial opportunity to strengthen the academic atmosphere and foster productive discussions between FIPP academics and international experts.
