Semarang, May 6, 2026 — The Guidance and Counseling (BK) Study Program, Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP), Semarang State University (UNNES), held a grave visit as part of a series of events commemorating UNNES’s 61st Anniversary. This annual event aims to commemorate and honor the services of predecessors who have contributed to the development of study programs at the university level.

This year, the visit was held at the grave of Prof. Dr. Mungin Eddy Wibowo, M.Pd., Kons., a professor in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program with a distinguished academic and professional track record spanning the national level. During his lifetime, he also served as Chairman of the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP) and is widely recognized for his contributions to the development of guidance and counseling science in Indonesia.

This pilgrimage served as a moment of reflection for the academic community to continue to appreciate the struggle and dedication of these predecessors in building the foundations of science and institutions. It is hoped that the exemplary values, spirit of service, and integrity they inherited will continue to inspire future generations.
The pilgrimage was led by the Dean of the Faculty of Education and Training (FIPP) at UNNES, accompanied by the Coordinators of the Undergraduate, Master’s, and Doctoral Guidance and Counseling Study Programs, and the Coordinator of the FIPP UNNES Counselor Professional Education Study Program. The ceremony took place solemnly as a form of respect and collective prayer for the deceased.

Through this activity, it is hoped that the entire academic community will strengthen their commitment to continuing the struggle of their predecessors in advancing education, particularly in the field of guidance and counseling.
