UNJ’s FIP Study Program at UNNES Strengthens Governance and Development of Educational Personnel



Semarang, December 4, 2025 — The Faculty of Education (FIP) of Jakarta State University (UNJ) conducted a field trip to the Faculty of Education and Psychology (FIPP) of Semarang State University (UNNES) on December 4, 2025. This activity focused on institutional governance and the development of educational staff as part of an effort to improve the quality of faculty management and higher education administration services.

The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to share experiences, knowledge, and best practices in managing educational staff. Through the field trip, FIP UNJ and FIPP UNNES were able to learn from each other about human resource development strategies, strengthening administrative systems, and increasing the effectiveness of organizational governance.

The development of educational staff is an important aspect in supporting the smooth implementation of the tridharma of higher education. Educational staff have a strategic role in providing effective administrative services, supporting the needs of lecturers and students, and ensuring the smooth operation of the institution. Therefore, the exchange of experiences between faculties is expected to serve as a reference in developing a more professional and adaptive work system.

This activity supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education by strengthening governance and supporting services for quality higher education. An academic environment supported by competent educational staff and a sound administrative system is one of the important factors in supporting the implementation of quality education.

In addition, this activity is in line with SDG 17: Partnerships to Achieve the Goals through cooperation between higher education institutions in sharing knowledge and good practices. This study is expected to strengthen institutional relations between FIP UNJ and FIPP UNNES and open opportunities for sustainable collaboration in human resource development and improving the quality of higher education governance.
