SEMARANG – The Faculty of Law at Semarang State University (UNNES) continues to build synergy with law enforcement officers to create a strong justice system in Indonesia. On May 5, 2026, a team of researchers involved in the UNNES Law Faculty Post Doctoral Researcher program officially held an audience with the Indonesian National Police (Polri).
The faculty stated that the audience held in Semarang is a strategic step for the institution. This meeting was initiated as a concrete effort to strengthen sustainable law enforcement collaboration between higher education and the police.
Furthermore, this initiative to explore cooperation reflects FH UNNES’s strong commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Specifically, this synergy is aimed at fulfilling Goal 16 (SDG 16).
The close collaboration between legal academic expertise and the authority of the police is expected to work hand in hand to build strong institutions and a fair legal system for all layers of society.
