FH.UNNES.AC.ID – Semarang, Penulis luar negeri menjadi salah satu bagian penting dalam reputasi sebuah jurnal ilmiah, tidak terkecuali jurnal hukum. Aspirasi wawasan internasional menjadi salah satu poin dalam penilaian akreditasi jurnal, selain unsur lainnya. Namun demikian, masih sedikitnya penulis luar negeri yang menerbitkan tulisan di berbagai jurnal di Indonesia menjadi salah satu tantangan tersendiri bagi pengelola jurnal.

Guna mencari strategi bagaimana menarik penulis luar negeri, Gugus Pengembang Jurnal Fakultas Hukum Universitas Negeri Semarang melaksanakan Workhsop Nasional Jurnal Hukum, Kamis (25/2) lalu secara daring. Kegiatan yang bekerjasama dengan Indonesia Law Journal Heroes dan Pejuang Jurnal Hukum se-Indonesia tersebut menggali berbagai pengalaman pembicara dan peserta dalam menggaet penulis asing.

Nur Rohim Yunus SH LLM, dari Jurnal Cita Hukum UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta berbagai pengalaman jurnalnya dalam menarik berbagai tulisan dari luar negeri. Menurutnya, beberapa cara sebetulnya bisa dilakukan oleh pengelola jurnal, misalnya mendaftarkan jurnal ke indeksasi Web of Science, DOAJ, dan sebagainya. “Biasanya, orang luar negeri itu melihat apakah jurnalnya open access, dan mudah didapatkan sehingga dia tertarik menulis di jurnal kita”, ujar Yunus yang juga merupakan Mahasiswa Program Doktoral di Gosudarstvennyy Universitet Upravleniya (GUU), Moscow Rusia.

Selain itu, menurutnya, butuh kolaborasi penulis dengan memaksimalkan jaringan nasional dan internasional. Salah satu yang dilakukannya adalah secara intensif melakukan kajian dan diseminasi hasil penelitian melalui berbagai pusat studi, antaranya Pusat Studi Konstitusi dan Legislasi (Poskolegnas) dan Eurasian Researcher Scholar Institute.

Sementara itu, Ridwan Arifin SH LLM, Journal of Indonesian Legal Studies mengungkapkan pengalaman jurnalnya dalam menarik minat penulis asing. Menurutnya, salah satu strategi yang ampuh adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan personal. “Biasanya, kami secara aktif mengirimkan surel ke berbagai penulis asing di banyak kampus, terutama mahasiswa S3”, ungkap Ridwan. Selain itu, menurutnya, jaringan reserachgate dan academia juga bisa dimanfaatkan dalam kolaborasi menulis lintas negara.

Dr. Rodiyah SPd SH MSi, Dekan Fakultas Hukum UNNES dalam sambutannya mengapreasiasi kegiatan tersebut. Rodiyah menekankan bahwa FH UNNES berkomitmen dalam membangun budaya akademik yang tinggi, profesional, dan berlandaskan nilai-nilai luhur Pancasila. “Kami memiliki tigabelas jurnal, yang hampir semuanya sudah terakreditasi, dan kami berharap ini bisa menjadi wadah bagi pengembangan budaya ilmiah”, ungkap Rodiyah.

Gugus Pengembang Jurnal FH UNNES secara berkala akan melakukan kegiatan pengembangan kualitas publikasi dan kualitas sumber daya pengelola jurnal. Gugus Pengembang Jurnal FH UNNES juga secara aktif bersinergi, berkolaborasi dan berkomunikasi dengan berbagai jejaringan kepakaran baik itu dalam maupun luar negeri.
