Bunga dan Rizki Duta Bahasa Jawa Tengah 2013

Dua mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) terpilih menjadi Duta Bahasa Jawa Tengah 2013, Selasa (3/9). Mochamad Rizki Adhi dari Jurusan Bahasa Inggris FBS terpilih pada kelompok putra, adapun mahasiswa  Jurusan Kimia FMIPA Bunga Amelia terpilih pada kelompok putri.

Keduanya telah melalui seleksi yang ketat sejak pertengahan Agustus 2013 lalu. Pada tahap penyisihan dipilih 10 peserta pada masing-masing kelompok untuk menyajikan makalah kebahasaan.  Adapun di babak final para finalis mengikuti presentasi dan wawancara dalam tiga bahasa, yakni bahasa Indonesia, bahasa Inggris, dan bahasa Jawa.

“Kami senang bisa mewakili Unnes dalam event ini. Setelah ini kami akan mewakili Jawa Tengah untuk pemilihan Duta Bahasa Nasional 2013,” ungkap Bunga, Selasa (3/9).

Pemilihan Duta Bahasa diselenggarakan Balai Bahasa Jawa Tengah setiap tahun. Selain memiliki gagasan yang autentik dalam bidang pengembangan bahasa, untuk memenangi kompetisi ini para peserta juga harus piawai berkomunikasi. Mereka akan ditugaskan dalam berbagai kegiatan pengembangan bahasa.

Bunga dan Rizki dinilai mampu mengembang tugas itu setelah presentasi sekaligus wawancara dengan tiga juri, yakni Erna Rahardian SS, Desi Ari Pressanti SS, dan Hanifah Fuadi Fathul Mubin SS.

Pada kelompok putra, juara II diraih oleh Gamaliel Septian A dari Universitas Negeri Malang dan juara III diraih oleh Ekky Amiral F dari DInas Kebudayaan Pemuda dan Olahraga Kabupaten Pati. Adapun pada kelompok putri, juara II diraih oleh Rahayu Novi dari Universitas Dian Nuswantoro (Udinus) dan juara III diraih Rachel Kartika Sari dari IKIP PGRI Semarang.
