Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) bekerjasama dengan United States Agency for International Development (USAID) sebagai pelaksana program Indonesia Ready to Work Accelerator Program (RWAP) untuk mahasiswa bidikmisi.

Acara yang berlangsung selama Senin – Selasa (17-18/04) ini, diselenggarakan oleh Pusat Pengembangan Karir, Bimbingan Konseling, MKU dan MKDK, Lembaga Pengembangan Pendidikan dan Profesi (LP3) UNNES.

Bertempat di lantai 2 Gedung Prof Satmoko LP3 UNNES, kegiatan ini mengedepankan active learning. Project koordinator Nina Hendarwati memaparkan, kegiatan ini akan membantu anak muda dalam melatih soft skills, personal development, komunikasi, leadership dan keuangan.

“Kita terpilih oleh USAID yang menjadikan UNNES sebagai pilar project untuk melatih soft skills para mahasiswa UNNES. Kegiatan ini akan diadakan hingga semua angkatan 2012 bisa mengikuti acara ini,” ungkap Kepala Pusat Pengembangan Karir, MKU, MKDK Eko Suprapto

Pelatihan RWAP yang ke-5 ini, diikuti oleh 44 peserta dari semua fakultas dan akan diadakan selama 6 kali pelatihan. Badan Latihan Kerja dan lembaga pelatihan kerja (BLK-LPK) yakni dari lembaga pendidikan tata busana Dina Rosdiana, dan Edy Ismail dari lembaga AKN Demak sebagai fasilitator.

Serangkain kegiatan RWAP diantaranya, penjelasan harapan dan kontrak belajar pelatihan, pengembangan pribadi, kerjasama dan kepemimpinan, serta pelatihan pembuatan Curiculum Vitae dan wawancara kerja. Partisipasi aktif semua peserta diharapkan dapat menjadi modal dasar bagi mahasiswa lulusan UNNES dalam mencari kerja.
