Zetan dan Teater Mahasiswa yang Terus Berproses

Panggung masih redup. Hanya ada berkas cahaya yang memantulkan properti. Ya, tatanan latar rumah di sisi kiri, sebuah ogok-ogok berukuran besar berdiri di sentral, dan semacam kursi singgasana  di sisi kanan. Ketika musik suram dan perkusi berbunyi, lampu-lampu menyorot tak beraturan, muncul empat sosok menyeramkan serupa setan. Mereka menari dalam nuansa gerak Bali. Satu per satu sosok manusia masuk panggung dan merespon setan. Lewat dialog singkat dan koreografi dramatis ini, lakon dibuka cukup mencekam.

Rabu (18/12) malam, gedung B106 Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Universitas Negeri Semarang menjelma panggung teater. Dalam “Parade Seni Peran 2013”, lakon Zetan karya Putu Wijaya dipentaskan oleh mahasiswa jurusan ini. Lewat tokoh utama bernama Zetan, penyaji teater ini seakan melempar parodi tentang sikap manusia yang lebih setan ketimbang setan. Menyentil persoalan korupsi, pendidikan, lewat tokoh Pak Guru yang menjadi mitra berperan si Zetan, lakon ini menyampaikan kepada penonton bahwa pendidikan di Indonesia kadang tak mempan untuk menjadikan manusia lebih beradab dari setan.Dibumbui adegan humor dan musik yang rancak, tontonan ini sekaligus jadi bukti bahwa mengemas pertunjukan teater itu butuh keseriusan.

“Proses yang panjang dalam mempersiapkan dimensi keaktoran, artistik, musik, dan tata cahaya, menjadi catatan utama dalam penampilan teater ini. Saya tak sekadar melihat bagaimana lakon ini ditampilkan malam ini, tapi pergulatan mereka untuk berlatih selama hampir 3 bulan, juga mengatakan betapa pentingnya keseriusan,” ujar Sendang Mulyana, MHum dosen sekaligus kurator pementasan ini.

Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia memang punya tradisi pementasan drama sebagai moda evaluasi mata kuliah pementasan drama bagi mahasiswa semester 5.  Selain Zetan, ada pula lakon Negeri Langit,  Jangan Menangis IndonesiaObrok Owok-Owok Ebrek Ewek-Ewek,verdosis yang telah dipentaskan sejak Sabtu (14/12) malam. Menyusul  Deleilah dan Mangir yang dapat anda saksikan hingga Sabtu (20/12) malam.
