Wujudkan Budaya Siaga Bencana, GIAT 12 UNNES Simulasi Gempa di SD Negeri 1 Grobogan

Tim Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) UNNES GIAT 12 SKM 2025 Kelurahan Grobogan menyelenggarakan simulasi bencana gempa bumi di SD Negeri 1 Grobogan, Selasa (29/7). Kegiatan bertema “Sekolah Tangguh Siap Hadapi Gempa Bumi” ini diikuti 74 peserta yang terdiri dari siswa kelas 5 dan 6, wali kelas, serta guru olahraga. Program ini dirancang untuk memperkuat kesiapsiagaan sekolah dalam menghadapi potensi bencana gempa bumi.

Rangkaian kegiatan diawali dengan penyampaian materi mengenai fenomena gempa bumi, mulai dari penyebab, karakteristik, hingga dampak yang ditimbulkan. Tim KKN juga memberikan pemahaman tentang prosedur penanganan sebelum, saat, dan setelah gempa. Materi disampaikan secara interaktif dengan bantuan media visual, simulasi mini, serta lagu edukatif tentang kesiapsiagaan yang mudah dipahami dan dipraktikkan siswa.

Peserta dilatih mengenali bunyi alarm evakuasi, memahami jalur evakuasi yang ditandai dengan rambu khusus, hingga mempraktikkan teknik perlindungan diri. Puncak kegiatan berupa simulasi gempa bumi yang diawali bunyi sirene darurat. Siswa bersama guru bergerak tertib mengikuti jalur evakuasi menuju assembly point di lapangan sekolah. Dalam simulasi tersebut, ditekankan pentingnya menjaga ketenangan, saling membantu teman, serta menunggu arahan guru.

Antusiasme peserta tampak dari keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam menjawab pertanyaan maupun melaksanakan instruksi simulasi. Beberapa siswa bahkan menunjukkan kepedulian dengan mengajukan pertanyaan mengenai cara melindungi keluarga ketika gempa terjadi di rumah.

Koordinator kegiatan, Muhammad Ainur Rofiq dan Fransiska Dwiyandari, menyampaikan bahwa program ini menjadi upaya nyata mahasiswa KKN UNNES dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana di lingkungan sekolah dasar.

Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan siswa dan guru SD Negeri 1 Grobogan dapat menjadi pelopor budaya tanggap bencana, tidak hanya di sekolah, tetapi juga di lingkungan keluarga dan masyarakat sekitar. Dengan begitu, terbentuk sekolah tangguh yang siap menghadapi bencana sekaligus mendukung terwujudnya masyarakat yang lebih aman dan berdaya tahan.
