Wisuda UNNES ke-131, Rektor Tegaskan Komitmen Pendidikan Bermutu dan Ilmu yang Berdampak

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) kembali mengukuhkan para lulusan dalam Upacara Wisuda ke-131 yang digelar di Auditorium Prof Wuryanto, Kampus Sekaran, Semarang, Jumat (12/7/2025). Pada Wisuda ke-131, Universitas Negeri Semarang mengukuhkan sebanyak 993 wisudawan dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan, terdiri atas 3 lulusan program diploma, 895 lulusan sarjana, 71 lulusan magister, dan 24 lulusan doktor.

Lulusan program sarjana dan diploma berasal dari sembilan fakultas, yaitu Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan dan Psikologi (148 orang), Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (77 orang). Sementara itu, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (119 orang), Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (110 orang), Fakultas Teknik (81 orang), Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis (131 orang), Fakultas Hukum (147 orang), Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan (63 orang), dan Fakultas Kedokteran (24 orang).

Dalam pidatonya, Rektor UNNES Prof Dr. S Martono M.Si menyampaikan ucapan selamat kepada para wisudawan yang telah menyelesaikan pendidikan dengan baik dan berhak menyandang gelar akademik sesuai jenjangnya. Rektor menyampaikan bahwa wisuda bukanlah akhir dari perjuangan, melainkan awal dari peran nyata di masyarakat.

“Ilmu yang telah diperoleh harus diamalkan dan memberi manfaat bagi sesama. Sebagaimana pepatah Jawa, ngelmu iku kalakone kanthi laku, ilmu harus diwujudkan dalam tindakan,” ungkap Prof Martono.

Rektor juga menegaskan komitmen UNNES sebagai universitas bereputasi dunia dan pelopor kecemerlangan pendidikan yang berwawasan konservasi. Salah satu wujud nyata komitmen tersebut adalah pembangunan gedung perkuliahan dan laboratorium terpadu FMIPA yang dirancang dengan konsep ramah lingkungan dan mendukung pengembangan inovasi sains dan teknologi.

Peningkatan mutu pendidikan juga dilakukan melalui revitalisasi berbagai fasilitas pembelajaran di berbagai fakultas, penguatan regulasi akademik, serta peningkatan kompetensi dosen. Saat ini, 68,8 persen program studi di UNNES telah terakreditasi Unggul atau A, dan dosen bergelar doktor telah mencapai 37,9 persen, sementara dosen bergelar profesor mencapai 11,3 persen.

Lebih lanjut, Prof Martono mengungkapkan bahwa peningkatan kualitas pendidikan tinggi merupakan tanggung jawab bersama antara perguruan tinggi, pemerintah, masyarakat, dan industri. Untuk itu, UNNES terus menjalin sinergi melalui berbagai kerja sama strategis, salah satunya melalui Dewan Penyantun Pendidikan UNNES yang tahun lalu berhasil menghimpun beasiswa bagi 397 mahasiswa.

Menutup sambutannya, Rektor berpesan agar para alumni senantiasa menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai konservasi, mengamalkan ilmu dengan integritas, dan berkontribusi nyata bagi bangsa dan kemanusiaan.
